Soviet destroyer wreck "Moscow", sank in 1941 in the Romanian territorial waters, was discovered by a joint team of divers from Ukraine, Russian Federation and Romania
The team worked for almost a month to locate the wreck using sonar and GPS equipment. Destroyer "Moscow", which it was known that sank in Romanian territorial waters, was one of the targets Romanian divers since 30 years.


In June 1941, Soviet naval forces attacked the Romanian coast, opening fire on the port of Constanta. The attack was led by the destroyer "Moscow"and the destroyer "Kharkiv. "
